What's Crackin'

Special thanks to Miss Amy who named this post... she was teasing my mom about Addie's saggy swim suit! Seems like Addie can't keep a bikini on when it gets wet!

We can't get enough of our sprinklers! We begged and begged mom to let us go outside after our nap yesterday for some more summer fun... she caved pretty quick! We had great shade and got to play until dinner!

Yuck, I hate it when I get grass in my mouth!

Sissy can be such a ham! Sometimes we call her Madonna because she has teeth like her... mom says not to tease Addie too much now - that the Dr told our mom that the space is usually a good sign that she won't have to have braces! Mom says wait until she teases us about being metal mouths!

Our Auntie Whit always asks my mom if she curls our lashes... check out Moo's lashes....

And Addie's lashes... looks like the twins do have something in common after all.

Well, I need to run - it is hard work trying to catch the water... I need to focus!

Sprinklers and Surprises...

My Auntie Penny and Uncle Bill gave me this AWESOME sprinkler ball for my birthday! My mom borrowed my Nana's octagon and hooked it to the one we already had and let us go WILD! We are a little old for play yards but our yard is HUGE and sometimes Matt and Addie like to run in opposite directions and it drives our mom mad... so she gives us a limited area to run around in...

As you can tell, it doesn't bother us one bit! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play in water.

Sissy can't get enough water and apparently can't have enough bathing suits either... Thanks to Maddie - she has one for every different water sport! Matty and I like this one better - we think the bikini's are a little too revealing!

Man, this is the life - but where are the Popsicles?

Auntie Penny and Uncle Bill also gave us a bubble machine that makes a zillion bubbles at one time! It is the coolest! I think it is fun to catch the bubble on my hands! If you are really still they don't pop.

My mom thinks we just need to hook this ball up to a cow since we go through about 6 gallons of milk a week... she thinks it would save her a lot of trips to the store and lots of time washing the sippy cups... I think that would be silly... plus, how would we be able to add chocolate when we fill our sticker charts from being good?

Bubbles, bubbles EVERY WHERE... We sure are getting good use of the gallon of bubble juice I got for my birthday too!

Looks like Matty Moo was in a trance from all the bubbles... Mom would find out later that he had something else in the works...

So, it is always crazy for mom to get three wet, tired and not so happy kids out of the fun in the sun and back in the house. She strips us one by one and gets us in the house... when she started to pull Moo Moo's suit off - this dropped out and she SCREAMED really loud... I thought she had seen a spider again - but NO... looks like Matty Moo had made her a little surprise! Mom was a good sport - she got him all cleaned up and disposed of the badly squished poopie... Man, we keep her on her toes!

But, just look at this face - no one can stay mad at him long! Come on over and play in our sprinklers any time! You might want to bring some sunscreen though - we hit 115 today!

Father's Day...

Ironically, this is the ONLY picture we have with our dad on Father's Day... maybe we need to start a new tradition next year where we ALL get a picture with the one we are honoring! Sorry dad...but this IS a nice shot of my boots!

On Saturday, we went over to our Nana and Papa's house for a BBQ! Here is Auntie Wendy and my sissy.

While we waited for the dessert part (the best part) we hung out in our playroom... Sissy discovered the letter books and decided that "F" was her Favorite!!! Hard to see but my sissy threw a fit and wanted to wear her boots too! She likes to be just like me! I taught her that when you put them on - you go STOMP, STOMP to make sure your feet are in good!

Sissy was waiting patiently for dessert... she waited and waited and waited for what seemed like FOREVER.

On Sunday we went over to my Gram and Papa's house. Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Janis were there too! Matty Moo and I were trying to get out to our Papa who was grilling GIANT steaks!

Here's Gram with Sissy! She is a busy girl... but looks like Gram caught her long enough to get a picture of her.... Gram took some pictures with Papa and Dad... Dad says HE has the BEST dad... WOW - looks like our family has lots of GREAT dads... I think that is because they learned from the VERY BEST dad ever - God!!!

Pete was so excited about making my blog that he came and posed for some more photos today! He was actually waiting patiently for the strawberries that my mom cut up for him... he LOVES strawberries... this time he ate them right away while we watched...

Man, I wish we could bring him in the house! I know he came in last summer for a few minutes but he must have thought it was too loud... he ran out pretty quick when mom swept him out from under the couch with our broom...

Wacky Wednesday!

Another fun play day at our house! The bucket was the fun item of the day! We love to toss out all the stuffies and crawl in our bucket or put it on our head or spin each other around in it... sometimes it is hard to share it though!

It's sissy bug! It is her favorite thing to do!

See - when it is someone else's turn - D-R-A-M-A! Mom says to get used to it... this is life with a sister!

Sometimes I have to stake my ground and make sure the twins know WHO IS BOSS... yup - you guessed it - MOM! After she snapped this pic I got into trouble... there is no lying with evidence like this.

Sissy is getting all girlie on us and likes to play with our hair... except notice how vain she is? She is combing his hair with a mirror - in which she is checking herself out! What a girl!

Sorry Addie - I didn't mean to call you vain! Just kidding... sissy - you are the best!

Sissy got tired of all the ribbing she was getting from us boys and started to play with her school bus all by herself. She likes to load the people in and out while singing "Wheels on bus, wheels on bus".

Mom loves it when sissy tries to load TONS of little people into her arms at one time. Did you notice that we were in our swim suits? We were going to go for a run in my new sprinkler ball but sissy had an asthma attack... we wanted to wear our suits anyways. Mom even let me wear mine in the tub tonight... she said it got me clean and my trunks clean at the same time... maybe she is starting to lighten up!

Matty Moo seems to think I am crazy!!! I love to run and jump on him while he is on our BIG blocks... I think he wishes that I would give him a little more warning.

Peek-a-Boo! My shorts got some applesauce on them - so I had to resort to my "big boys" for a while... good thing swim trunks dry fast.

Finally a HAPPY moment from sissy! She likes her new little bikini. Dad says to enjoy it because it will probably be her LAST!

We played so long and so hard - we all started to creep into our own corners of the playroom to play quietly.
