Christmas with Laina

We had ONE final Christmas celebration with Linda and Laina! For this "event" put us in our "ho, ho, ho" shirts that she makes for us every year. (I hate to tell her, but her time with these shirts is limited!)

We had fun messing with mom while she tries to take pics!

Here's Laina and Addie Mae. These girls are best friends.

Laina and the rowdy Egglets!

And, lastly - the Twinkies... these two are too much!

Christmas Morning 2010

Mom got up JUST before us to take some pictures ... kinda like the calm before the storm!

Matty Moo wasted no time diving into his stocking!

Addie found her FAVORITE candy in her stocking right away!

I must have been OK this year - I got several new Thomas the Train things that I have ALWAYS wanted!

Looks like mom has lots to clean up while dad makes us his traditional Christmas morning breakfast! My dad makes the BEST breakfast ever!

Again... with the camera.... mom wanted to get us in our matching jammies... looks like this was a failed attempt too!

After a HUGE breakfast and some toy time - we went over to our Nana and Papa's house for Christmas dinner. Mom was determined to get ONE picture of the three of us this Christmas.

It's never hard to get our cousin Bri to take pics... she loves the camera - and it loves her too!

Moo LOVES to get cuddles from Bri.

I love my oldest cousin too... but she is ALWAYS trying to kiss on me... bleck!

Here's my ONLY guy cousin - Drew. He's pretty cool.

We had a great Christmas all around. It was the best to spend Christmas night with our cousins!

Christmas Eve 2101

Of course Christmas Eve had to start with photos... Matty and Addie were being silly.
Mom was trying so hard to get pics of us but we had other plans! We were too excited about going out to eat for Gram's birthday AND to start the Christmas celebration!

We finally pulled it together long enough for a couple of shots...

When Papa and Gram got to our house - Matty and Papa had a little train race. Looks like it was intense, they both look pretty serious!

After dinner we had some Birthday Singing for our Gram! Check out her Santa cake our dad got for her!

After we celebrated Gram's birthday, we did a little Christmas opening! It was VERY exciting!

One last attempt... but mom always says she likes to capture "life as it is"... looks like she got it!

Nutcracker 2010

I know, I know... It's already been 6 months since I updated my blog. December is always crazy fun and then in January I started preschool... AND... mom's started a new photography thing. It's awesome - she now takes tons of pics of OTHER people's kids so we aren't always being shot!

Mom and Addie started a new tradition this Christmas - The Nutcracker Girls Night!

Addie got all dressed up for the event AND even carried a purse for her very own ticket!

Mom and Addie got downtown early - so they went to the top of a hotel building and checked out the scene. On the way back to the Symphony building Addie said there were lots of people singing Christmas songs on the street. Mom said Addie even stopped and danced with one of them.

Before the show - the sugar plum fairy read the Nutcracker story to the little kids. Addie sat up front all by herself. Mom said she was mesmerized by the fairy! (Also, so the pics are bad - mom only had her cell phone! Who's ever heard of a photographer without a camera?)

After the Sugar Plum fairy read the story - she took pictures with the kids... Addie LOVED her.

After the show, Mom and Addie went to Claim Jumper for a VERY special dessert. Looks like that ice cream is bigger than Addie's head!

What a great night! While the girls did their thing - dad took us to Toys R Us to check out the new stuff AND then to Red Robin for dinner.... looks like we might have two new traditions.
