Tender Moments...

Mom and I were playing a game when we looked over and saw Matty Moo and Addie snuggling and sweet...

Here's Matty Moo checking out the tree and playing with the little nativity set.

Sweet Christmas kisses.... between brother and sister...

Sissy checking out the zebras...

Matty Moo caught on to the camera game.... see the rocking horse?

Check out this Jingle Bell.... do you think this is Santa's bell?

Mom was just having some fun and thought their little tushes looked cute.... what is it with my mom...

All Dressed Up... Where to Go?

We were trying to figure out where we were about to go....
Mom got us all dressed up from our heads,
All the way down to the tips of our toes...

We practiced our smiles - and took mom's hand....

To find out that of Santa we are NOT a big fan!

Dance Party!!!!

WHOOOOO in the world is dancing over at our house?!?

Look at this clue.... who could be wearing all these tutus?

Did you figure it out? There are three dancers over here... we are having ourselves a GREAT dance party!

One more chance.... can you guess who's twirling and spinning and jumping and singing?

Yup! You guessed it.... it's ALL of the Egglets! Sissy LOVES to wear anything "princess" and loves to dance to the music on mom's ipod.... Matty and I decided that it looked like so much fun that we snuck into her tutu stash and put on some ourselves... it looks pretty ridiculous... but boy it's a TON of fun!

We heard a loud noise in our backyard - so we stopped to investigate.... it was just dad mowing the lawn and blowing the leaves... man is he going to be SHOCKED when he sees all of us in tutus!

Sissy thinks it's pretty funny to see her brothers in her girlie tutus! But ever since she tries to get us to wear them all the time.... Mom said she doesn't care... she figures that when we are older she will use these pictures to get us to do WHATEVER she wants!

Matty spun and spun until he couldn't stand up any longer!

And when the dancing got old .... we took out the strollers and grocery cart and played CRASH into each other.... they may be girl toys but Matty and I have learned how to toughen them up by running and crashing into things... sometimes we even make ramps and jump the strollers off them!

Sissy got so tired she eventually sat in the corner and played by herself... a rare quiet moment for our sissy girl...

Pretty soon Matty Moo was getting tired too... he joined sissy and gave her some good ole fashioned brotherly love!

Some Twin Time...

On a Saturday in December... Dad took JUST ME to the car wash... while we were gone - mom did a little Christmas photo shoot with Matty and Addie.... Here's Addie in her Owl outfit mom made her checking out the tree.

Must have been a pretty cool horn she was looking at... Matty Moo had to check it out too!

Mom and I made sure that we put all the baby safe and super fun ornaments in reach... we knew they would love to look at all of them.

Like this airplane... This airplane is one of the ornaments that our dad got when he was only SIX years old... it is one of our favorites to look at.

Both mom and dad grew up each getting a new ornament each year. It was something that was special to what they liked or what they did that year... when they grew up and got married, they got to take their ornaments to their new home... mom and dad now do this with us too!

One of Matty's favorites is this gum ball machine... he likes to shake, shake, shake it!

Looks like he even discovered Santa's sleigh and wanted to test drive it!

Hey! WAIT A MINUTE~ that is MY Hummer!!! Now I know what they do with my stuff while I am gone.... looks like they made it into a Hummer built for two!

Sissy wrapped up her photo shoot checking out the potty training book Auntie Ally sent! Mom said soon after the New Year... we would work on them wearing BIG BOY's like me... wait a minute.... I think Addie's gunna need something else.

Christmas Lights.... on OUR house!

Can you believe this is OUR house? Yup, dad put the Christmas lights up again this year expect now the Reindeer are in our front yard!

It was REALLY, REALLY cold the night he put up all our lights... but mom let me go out for a little while to supervise...

And I think he did a PERFECT job! Addie and Matt were already in bed - but MAN were they excited when they saw them the next night! Every night before we go to bed, we open our front door and yell "Goodnight Christmas Lights~!"

It's just magical... I think our house had the BEST lights on the block! Thanks dad!

I was having so much fun helping that I was NOT impressed when mom made me come back in the house to go to bed.... maybe SHE IS the Grinch that stole Christmas!

Gingerbread Houses...

Nana surprised me with a Gingerbread House Kit that I could build ALL BY MYSELF! Well, I needed mom to help with putting up the walls... but other than that I did it ALL BY MYSELF!

Mom put Addie and Matt down for a nap and I got to stay up to artfully craft my house... It's hard to decide what should go where... I wanted it to be JUST PERFECT!

Mom kept telling me to not sample so much of the icing and candy.... I have NO IDEA what she's talking about... I am not eating ANY of this.... it is all going on my house! Promise!

OH MAN! Busted... OK... so I WAS sampling it as I was going... it's just a little quality control~!

Tah Dah! What do you think? I think it's PERFECT!

It's Begininng to Look Like Christmas....

On December 1st our Tree of Thanksgiving turned into our Christmas tree! And our house started looking just like our favorite storybook sounds....
..."And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...."
Matty Moo would sit and look at the tree and the fun snowmen underneath.... both of them were pretty good about looking or poking but NOT taking the fun stuff off the tree... I had to remind them MORE than once to leave stuff alone!
As you can tell, mom didn't really work hard to make it not tempting.... all this stuff looks like too much fun to just leave it alone!
Look .... do you see what I see.... look close in MY stocking!!!
Yup! On December 1st ... the Elf from the Shelf returned to our house! It was so much fun to hunt for him each day to see where he was hiding... we love Bernard and it's always sad to see him disappear on the 24th... But since Jesus' birthday is on the 25th... we don't need Bernard around to remind us to be good in anticipation of Christmas!
