Spring Break!

My cousins had Spring Break this week - so we all went to the park!

Matty and Addie love being in my wagon! Can't you tell?

Bri is our Oldest cousin and she is really cool! She always knows how to get Matty Moo to smile!

And she LOVES to be all gushy and gives me hugs all the time!

Drew and I ran around and chased the birds... this is my dad's favorite thing to do too!

Addie brought her purse with us... she may be a rough and tumble little girl - but she likes to look cute while being so tough!

All that playing made us all hungry! Nana took us to Peter Piper Pizza - Drew and I played and played!

I even got to ride a tractor!

Climbing some more... who needs pizza when you have all this stuff to do?

Mom had to take this picture when we got home! Addie had a white dress on and she is SO messy when she eats - so she was stripped down to her Princess Addie bloomers and she STILL got pizza on her pants!

Twinies...

Well, here is a pic of the twins... It is rare to get a picture of the two of them at the same time where they are both looking at the camera... now, we just have to work on them looking at the camera AND smiling! Matt & Addie are the same age I was when mom and dad brought them home. I was holding my breath - trying to see if two more were going to come - but it looks like we are in the clear! Looks like I am only going to have one brother and one sister! Whew!

Matty Moo was happy to be the center of attention! He loves to smile and wave.

Addie Mae is our drama queen. One minute she is silly and smiling and the next a seriously little smirk... funny girl.

Tubby Time! Addie LOVES to play in the tubby and mom managed to get a shot that was not TOO embarrassing!

Moo was so excited about playing with my whale that he would NOT look at mom! He is quite the splasher.

Don't let this innocent picture fool you... these two are wild animals! It is really cool to have not one but TWO little people in my house!

Don't Take Toys from Matty...

My mom has been telling me to share with my brother and sister for some time. But, they were MY toys first AND I am bigger... so sometimes I don't listen so well...

I tried to overpower Matty Moo the other day - he had a car I just had to have.

I pulled him down and he landed in my lap. I got the toy and that is when I felt the WORST pain in my leg. I started SCREAMING and mom rushed to the rescue...

BUT, I was left with a BAD bite! Yup, Moo Moo is now Crock! He is a chomper!

Mom took me to see the jets and it worked to get my mind off the pain! I just kept telling her that it was broken!

Here is a close up of my bite! Good thing I had pants on at the time! Moo Moo got in BIG trouble and mom told me that I needed to share better too... Mom told Moo that he needs to use his words and NOT his teeth.
I learned that he may be smaller than me but he is NOT to be messed with! Addie is so much easier to pick on - she is so hyper that she just moves on to something else! I will stick with picking on her from now on!

Aunt Wendy's Birthday!

After being at the Zoo all day - we got to party all night! We got all cleaned up and loaded into the car for a night at Nana and Papa's house to celebrate Auntie Wendy's birthday. I don't know how old she is... they didn't put any candles on her dessert... that can't be a good sign.

When we first got to Nana's house - the babies got quarantined in the pak-n-play while the last minute dinner prep was finished. I went outside with the rest of the men to finish cooking the steaks... Maybe someday Matty Moo will join the ranks of the grilling men.

"What, are you kidding me - I shared a womb with him - why in the world do I have to share my pak-n-play?" As you can see - Sissy was not too thrilled with sharing her space OR her books.

Here's the birthday auntie and my cousin drew. People say we look a lot alike in the eyes... I think that is pretty cool cuz he is really fun to play with! I heard my mom say that Aunt Wendy got new hair for her birthday. I think that is kinda creepy. I hope I don't ever have to get new hair - I like the kind I have. It looked really pretty though.

Matty Moo got caught red handed eating Twinkies! Mom wouldn't let any of us Egglets eat our Nana's famous Mississippi Mud. Ewwww... who eats mud?

Here was the best part. I was SO excited to give Auntie Wendy my present. I had made her two things. Mom and I made cupcakes and took them to her work on her real birthday! I got to put on all the sprinkles! That is a FUN job.

I was so excited to show her what I made her - that I had to help speed up the unwrapping process!

Here's the one-of-a-kind frame that I painted for my auntie! I even put the polka dots on the letters! The only thing I had to have help with was gluing the letters on. Mom had to use a glue gun and since I am not allowed to play with guns - she had to do it herself! I think my auntie LOVED it... she gave me a giant hug and a HUGE kiss... girls can be so mushy.

When our aunt finally told us how old she turned - Addie just could NOT believe it! Actually our mom tells us that we should really be happy when someone has a birthday! It is a great gift from God to be here on earth and we should be so grateful for EACH and EVERY year. It means more time with our family and our friends. (Our dogs too!)

Wild Life Zoo

Yup! Another zoo trip! The weather has been so nice here that we have been enjoying every minute of it. The Wild Life zoo is really close to us AND they have some new additions. So, dad skipped golf this weekend and took us to the zoo!

They have three new aquarium buildings... It was SO cool. There were tons of fishies and lots of strange looking things that live in the ocean. Mom says that is why she enjoys the water from a boat or the beach...what a scaredy cat!

Sissy was pretty excited about all the "ish" too...

Matty Moo wasn't so sure that he liked the dark.

Once we got outside - we got to see all the other animals... at this zoo you can get really close! These porcupines were so cool I had to get a closer look.

Yup! Those spikes look really sharp!

Sometimes to get the best view - a guy has to look under the railing instead of over it. Mom thought it was cute until she almost stepped on a scorpion... from then on out - she would not let me get on the ground!

Mom got a little personal with a zebra - he was SO close. I had to remind her NOT to pet the animals!

I got SO close to a giraffe! Mom let it lick her hands! I made her use Purel BEFORE she shared a cookie with me! Did you know that a giraffe has a really, really long tongue and it is really slimey?

These funny pink birds stand on one leg! And they kinda honk instead of cheep.

I tried to stand on one leg like they did - but it was so tiring. I don't know how they do it!

When we first got to the zoo Dad asked me what we were going to see and I told him puppies! Mom and Dad laughed... but here they are! African Wild puppies! Look who is laughing now!

Dad helped out when the crowds were hard to see through... I knew something cool must have been on the other side of the fence and I wanted to see for myself.

Ohhhh a Kitty! He was so cute - just bathing in the sun.

We topped off the the day with a ride on the "Ferris wheel". Mom says it is a carousel- whatever. It was SUPER fast but Dad did great - he wasn't even scared.

A Visit from Aunt Patty and Uncle Jerry...

This must be our lucky month... first Aunt Rita was here and now Uncle Jerry and Aunt Patty are here! Here is Addie on our way to meet them with Gram, Papa, Cousin Eric, Cousin Merry and "Baby" Kaleigh...

Here's Moo on the way... as you are probably guessing - we had so much fun at dinner that Mom didn't take any pics! (Hard to believe - I KNOW!) Aunt Patty took bunches with her cool iPhone so maybe we will post some more later.

After dinner I showed my dad the flowers... seems really cute until I stomp on them! After dinner we went back and played for a long time. Moo really loved playing with Aunt Patty and the Lego wagon - he laughed and laughed. I played pool with Gram and Addie just ran around like a wild child - as usual. We were so tired by the time we left that we ALL fell asleep in the truck on the way home! Addie didn't even make it out of the neighborhood!

A Visit From Aunt Rita!

I know, I know, I am behind AGAIN! Uncle Jerry reminded me this weekend that I haven't posted in a while but once you see what we have been up to - you may understand. We have had so much fun lately that we have hardly had a chance to sit down!

Our GREAT Aunt Rita (the great is more a descriptor than a title!!!) came to see us from Colorado. We LOVE Aunt Rita - she totally knows how to make us giggle. Aunt Rita even caught Missy Mae long enough to get this picture... that is NOT an easy feat.

Mom took this picture of Aunt Rita trying to capture Moo. He is SO into Gram and Papa's shutters. He kinda gets "stuck" when he finds things he really likes. He does it over and over and over and over and over again.

Sissy discovered the game table chairs. She climbed up....

and down again and again. I think she saw me looking so cool sitting in them that she had to try it herself!

As you can tell - the Egglets sure know how to party it up! We had every toy you can think of all over their family room. We were keeping Gram, Papa, Aunt Rita, Cousin ReAnn, Mom and Dad on their toes the WHOLE time.

I even got a chance to work with my Gram on her puzzle skills... everyone says she is the master puzzle put togetherer a title I may have to strip her of in the future. She is really good at this Elmo puzzle so I am going to have to keep practicing!
Since I am about a week behind and we had a lot of fun events this past week - keep checking in so that you don't miss a thing!
